Clear pool flat and still.
A single droplet descends

An Eagle Fishing
Swoops low. Climbs again skyward.
Content with his lunch.

What's Visible

What's seen above is
Much less than what lies below
Above's a warning

Bound for Home

Geese against the sky,
Filled with purpose strike for home,
Know which way to fly.

Another River Calls

Another River
Beckons me to come downstream.
And lazily drift.

The Quiet Forest

The forest lies still,
A mist steals among the trees
Thickening the air.
