I thought when I got old, I'd just slow down.
Instead I only shifted to a lower gear.
My motor's still going as fast as it can.
But it takes twice as long these days.
To do half as much and the kids?
They've got little patience for us old people
Grinding along at senior speed,
But here's a secret they forget.
We've got control of most of the money.
And if they get too saucy with us,
We'll just spend off their inheritance.
