Anniversary 52
You've lived with me and been my love,
And with me all life's pleasure proved
And all too often life's pains endured as well.
We've sung our songs together and filled the air with music
To the amazement of many an innocent bystander
While those who loved us best nodded along as they recognized the tune.
Now two and fifty years along the path to a better world,
I thank you for the many pieces of heaven you have shared with me,
All along the sometimes weary, sometimes joyous winding way
To the home where we belong....
